Dayton Emergency Vet Clinic Gets New Owner, New Name

Did you know the Dayton Emergency Vet Clinic (EVC) has a new owner and a new name?

On Monday, June 11, MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets acquired the Dayton EVC and took over clinic operations.

In a news release, MedVet noted its presence in Columbus and Cincinnati, and its long-standing relationship with Dayton EVC clients in providing dermatology and ophthalmology care.

Dr. Amy Snyder, MedVet's Medical Director in both Dayton and Cincinnati, says 24-hour, 7 day a week emergency service and all new MedVet Dayton specialties will commence in early July once staff and requisite technology are in place. MedVet Dayton will expand its specialties to include cardiology, dermatology, internal medicine, opthamology, soft tissue surgery, and orthopedic surgery.

There will be no interruptions in the DEVC emergency service schedule prior to the 24/7/365 emergency service beginning.
